It's another week of eeks and treats in Albany County! As the All-Hallow E'en Festival continues, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the season, explore Albany's scariest sites, and ways for even the tiniest of Halloween fans to get in the spirit. Scroll on for events taking place during the third week of Albany's All-Hallow E'en Festival.

Hounds of Halloween

All Hallow E’en Art Path
On view 24/7, all October long! | Downtown Albany

Inspired by the original 1904 & 1905 All-Hallow E’en Festival in which local businesses helped support the event with window displays, Albany Center Gallery worked with local artists and businesses to create a range of fall-inspired window art. Explore this colorful art path featuring everything from cats on a trick-or-treat promenade displayed near Albany Center Gallery to cookies celebrating the season in the windows of Nocturnal Cookies

Fall Finds: Family Scavenger Hunt at Ten Broeck
October 21 | 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM | Ten Broeck Mansion

Explore the beautiful trees and discover fuzzy and feathered creatures who call the Ten Broeck gardens their home. Scavenger hunts are broken into two age groups: 3 to 7 and 8 to 14. Scavengers can win prizes such as free art and school supplies, snacks and take-home discovery kits. 

Hounds of Halloween

11 AM to 3 PM | Start at Olde English Pub or Olde English Downtown Dog Park
This dog trick-or-treat event is fun for the whole family! Litters of dressed-up dogs will roam the streets of downtown Albany sniffing out treats at a multitude of participating businesses. Dog costumes are a must, but human pals are encouraged to dress up too! 

Autumn in the Arboretum
**Moved Indoors due to inclement weather
Saturday, October 21 | 11 AM to 3 PM | Pine Hollow Arboretum
Traverse the trees of the Pine Hollow Arboretum and enjoy fall fun from pumpkin painting to nature crafts to enjoying some cider and doughnuts. This family-friendly event will also include a photo station and live music.

Cider Monster Mash
October 21 | 1 PM to 7 PM |
Nine Pin Cider
At this smash hit Nine Pin event, formerly known as the pressing party, help Nine Pin create their Cider Monster '23. Get firsthand pressing experience using apples that will be made into the cidery's signature drink. Enjoy the release of Cider Monster '22 which was pressed by the community last year. Enjoy family-friendly fall games and treats. 

Family Crafting: Origami at the Myers Residence
October 21 | 1 PM to 2:30 PM | Underground Railroad Education Center

Make an origami box to take home and share in some origami read alouds! Suggested age for participating is 10 years old and up.

Murder at Cherry Hill

Follow the footsteps of an infamous murderer who's harrowing story took place at Cherry Hill in 1827. This murder resulted in two sensational trials and Albany's final public hanging. Relive that night during one of Cherry Hill's popular October tours.

The Shakers never saw the spirit world as threatening, instead they embraced visions, dreams, and communication with the spirits. Learn the stories of some of the revolutionary figures who are laid to rest at the Shaker Cemetery.

Haunted Tales from the Crow’s Wood

Tell tales of ghostly spirits and mysterious occurrences just as those of 18th century Albany County did. Warm up by the campfire at Crailo's Riverside park as you hear these spine-chilling stories. Younger children and those of the faint of heart are welcome to attend and paint pumpkins at a set aside station. 

Eerie Albany Historic Ghost Tour

Uncover the haunted buildings and shadowy past of the capital city during this ghost tour. Your guide will regale you with spine-chilling stories at locations like the 200-year-old Quackenbush House where the Olde English Pub now resides and mysteries surrounding the homes of Ten Broeck Triangle.
