Annual Events & Festivals

The Capital Region has long served as a cultural crossroads. Early Dutch and British settlers welcomed Germans, Irish, Poles, Italians, Chinese, and African Americans as new industries, canals, and railroads came to the region over time. Today, Albany still evokes that sense of diversity through its residents, architecture, food, and festivals.

This section details just a small selection of our favorite annual events and festivals!

January: Albany Chef's Food & Wine Festival "Wine & Dine for the Arts"
May: Tulip Festival
June: Dad Fest | Alive at 5 | Capital Pride Festival
July: New York State's 4th of July Celebration
September: LarkFEST
October: Halloween and Haunted Events
