The Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. was incorporated in 1976 to promote New York State's capital as a destination for visitors and a host to all types of meetings and conventions. Re-branded in 2017 as Discover Albany we have been assisting meeting specialists for more than 30 years, acting as a community concierge to attract and assure successful meetings, conventions and events held in Albany.

Discover Albany has officially launched the Destination Development Program, a new partnership model designed to support our tourism community, strengthen Albany’s visitor economy, and help your organization grow right alongside it.
