Biking

Cyclists, look no further! Albany is a great place to bike. Bring your own and hit the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail that spans the county. Or, you can explore the riverfront using the Mohawk-Hudson Bike Trail or Colonie Riverfront Bike-Hike Trail. Additional trails are available in parks all across the Capital Region including the Albany Pine Bush Preserve, the Crossings of Colonie, and the John Boyd Thacher State Park.

Plus, there’s bike rental stations across the city! Grab a bike for just $5 an hour and pick your own your adventure!
