The Albany Book Festival, presented by the New York State Writers Institute, is held annually in September. Book lovers descend upon the University at Albany for panel discussions, literary vendors, book signings, writing workshops and more. More than 100 authors and poets attend, ranging from local authors to several nationally-known and best-selling writers.
