The Pride Center of the Capital Region (Pride Center) is dedicated to serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community in the Capital Region. Based in Albany, the Pride Center has been meeting the diverse needs of LGBT people in a ten county region since 1970.

The Pride Center of the Capital District, the oldest, continuously operating LGBTQ+ Community Center in the country, has served the LGBTQ+ community in the Capital Region for more than 50 years. Every year, the Pride Center of the Capital Region celebrates Pride throughout the month of June with special events including the Capital Pride Parade and Festival, one of the largest celebrations of Pride in the Capital Region.
