Albany's All-Hallow E'en Festival
In 1904 & 1905, the City of Albany transformed into an enchanted Halloween-Dreamland. The streets were illuminated with festive lighting, storefronts competed in friendly decorating contests, and celebrations were held throughout the City. The Halloween faerie Queen Titania and her court welcomed the revelers and oversaw the event from the Capitol steps. Over 100 years later, Discover Albany has assembled a team of partners dedicated to resurrecting the Halloween Festival. The revived Halloween Festival celebrates the diversity of talent in Albany by featuring public art, community events, dramatic tours, historical exhibitions and Albany's first ever Halloween House Ball!
