Albany County LEGO Challenge

We’re celebrating America’s 250th with a LEGO Challenge! Join one of our public community events and build an Albany County Revolutionary War scene or build one at home to be entered into the Rev 250th LEGO Challenge and displayed at Discovery Albany’s Visitors Center.

How to Participate:

Built-at-home: Use your own LEGOS and take your time to build an Albany County Revolutionary War Scene. You can do this in one of two ways:

1. Use an image from the Albany County Rev 250 website as inspiration for your build. Design something similar. Add working parts and details that may not be visible in the image.

2. Use an image from the Albany County Rev 250 website and build the exact scene. Include as many details from the image as possible in your replica.

While building you will want to think about the size and scale of the items in the scene. Try different approaches to find the one that looks the best and works well for your project.

Community Build Events: Legos will be provided by the Albany Public Library and other participating Heritage sites. Creations must be built and stay at the participating sites. They will be judged alongside other built-on-site creations.
