PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE MVP ARENA GARAGE!!! There will be ample metered parking spots, surface parking lots and garages available near the MVP Arena in downtown Albany throughout the tournament.
Recommended Parking Locations:
Green Hudson Garage located at 45 Hudson Avenue (4 minute walk to the MVP Arena)
Quackenbush Garage located at 25 Orange Street (15 minute walk to the MVP Arena)
Riverfront Garage located at 2 Columbia Street (10 minute walk to the MVP Arena)
If parking on-street, visitors can easily pay their parking meter through their phone using the ParkAlbanyApp.

MVP Arena continually reviews its security systems. As a result of these ongoing reviews, and with the goal of continuing to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests, tenants, and co-workers, MVP Arena has added numerous procedures and security measures to its existing comprehensive security program.
- Bag policy: CLEAR plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” will be allowed. Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” (approximately the size of a hand) will be allowed and do not need to be clear. PLEASE CHECK THE DIMENSIONS OF YOUR POCKETBOOK!!!! Larger and other types of bags are prohibited. There is no storage or check-in for prohibited bags. For patrons with young children in attendance, diaper bags are allowed and subject to search.
- Walk-thru metal detectors will be used at all entrances of the facility. If needed, security will perform pat downs on patrons in addition to the metal detectors.
- Professional lenses are prohibited
- Generally, non-professional cameras are allowed (point and shoot, no detachable lens). While not common, occasionally an event will prohibit all cameras. We encourage you to visit your event page for confirmation.
Patrons should plan to arrive earlier than normal to allow for traffic, parking and security procedures.

There will be a staffed mobile visitors center, your gateway to all things fan-related. In addition, the Discover Albany team will answer your questions, share their favorite local "watering holes" and instruct you on how to utilize the Discover Albany App so you have directions and entertainment/dining recommendations right at your fingertips. Be sure to ask for your complimentary basketball face tattoo while supplies last!
Get ready to groove at our sports fan zone with the electrifying beats of DJ "Jonesy". From pulsating rhythms to chart-topping hits, immerse yourself in a sonic experience like no other as you celebrate and unite with fellow fans under the spell of her unmatched mixes!
