Palace Theater

Kick off the holiday season at the Palace Theatre! Enjoy the Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet! performed by stars of the Ukraine ballet on November 17. The holiday tradition features larger-than-life puppets, breathtaking acrobatics and dazzling costumes. Next up on December 6, dancer and violinist Lindsey Stirling is bringing the holiday spirit to the landmark venue with her new "Snow Waltz Tour". 

Throughout December, the Palace Theater is hosting free screenings of holiday classics and blockbuster films. Watch The Muppet Christmas Carol on December 12, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on December 19 and A Christmas Story on December 23.

They'll adore Disney's Frozen Jr. presented by the Playhouse Stage Academy from December 15 to 23. Don't forget to bring your little ones to Santa's Sing-A-Long on December 19 to belt out Christmas songs to help Santa's reindeer get back in the holiday spirit.

The Cadets of La Salle Institute are performing their annual Christmas Concert at the music hall on December 16. Albany Pro Musica presents 'The Many Moods of Christmas', a Capital Region holiday tradition, on December 18. Catch The Magic Of Christmas, a Capital Region holiday tradition, at the Palace Theater on December 4. You and your family will be filled with holiday cheer while enjoying the classic Christmas carols and sparkling holiday tunes. If you miss that performance, there are two more opportunities to hear the talented musicians perform Holiday Classics. Head to the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on December 10 and December 11 to enjoy the Albany Symphony perform classics such as J.S. Bach's Christmas Cantata No. 6 and W.A. Mozart's Symphony No. 39.
