12 Festive Window Displays to Drive By in Albany County

Albany County is dressed in holiday style. Drive by local shops and restaurants decked out for the season with festive window displays! Regional artists created seasonal storefront displays for the Downtown Albany BID's Winter Wonderland Public Art Program and Stuyvesant Plaza hosts a window decorating contest, so Albany County is filled with holiday cheer!
While driving by the windows, consider ordering takeout or curbside pickup from the local restaurants. Cross those final items off of your holiday shopping list by shopping small at local retailers. All local businesses need your support more than ever before during this difficult time!

The Fort Orange General Store is open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday to Monday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for the holiday season. There is also in-store pickup available and items available in the online shop.

This is a bonus stop! To view the window, park your car and stroll through Quackenbush Square. The Discover Albany Visitor Center is temporarily closed, but after admiring the window display order takeout from the nearby Olde English Pub or CH Evans Brewing at the Albany Pump Station.
