Albany Ambassadors

Albany Ambassadors are members of the community who championed the effort to bring their organization's meeting to Albany. You, too, can be recognized as an Albany Ambassador for bringing your meeting or convention to Albany!* If you belong to a club, association, business group, religious organization, or sports group that hosts events outside of Albany and want to bring it home, contact us today to discuss the opportunities and complimentary services available.

The Albany Ambassador program was initiated in 1993 with the first class of honorees in 1994. Since then, more than 150 dedicated volunteers have provided the Capital Region's economy with a tremendous impact. Their combined efforts have already brought over 150,000 delegates to Albany.

2016 Ambassadors

* Albany Ambassador status is achieved if the meeting/event planned generates more than 100 room nights (one room night = one hotel/motel room occupied for one night) and after the meeting has occurred. Awards are presented to Albany Ambassadors at the ACCVB Annual Dinner.
