Regents Punch


John Van Schaick Lansing Pruyn (Chancellor of the New York State Board of Regents)'s mid-nineteenth century recipe.


3 quarts champagne
2 quarts hock 1 quart Curacao
2 quarts Madeira
1 quart brandy
1 quart lemon juice
2 quarts green tea
2 quarts seltzer
1 pint Jamaica rum
4 pounds raisins

Macerate raisins and allow to stand overnight in tea and lemon juice. Add other ingredients and serve cold.
