Our Company Mission: To promote the development of the Central Avenue business corridor, a major gateway, business and service center full of nightclubs, shops, restaurants, grocery stores, big box retailers, and much, much, more. Our Staff and Board of Directors work to enhance the public perception of the Central Avenue business corridor and empower an entity charged with managing the appearance, image, security, promotion, accessibility, advocacy, and cleanliness of the district.
Central Avenue is a three mile vibrant livable commercial center with over 500 businesses that employ over 7,000 employees. "The Avenue" is Albany´s very busy "Main Street". Located in Uptown Albany, The Avenue is a bustling hub for both business and civic events. From the new home to the Albany Patroon´s basketball team to the WAMC- "Linda Norris" Auditorium & Performing Arts Center, these venues are just the beginning of the, "What to do", on the Avenue.
