Crailo State Historic Site

Historic, fortified brick house that tells the story of early Dutch inhabitants of the upper Hudson Valley; exhibits highlighting archaeological finds and special programs; reportedly the site where “Yankee Doodle” was penned.
Empire State Plaza & Art Collection
Empire State Plaza, Albany
Nelson Rockefeller’s permanent contribution to the Albany skyline, this modern complex includes the Corning Tower, The Egg Center for the Performing Arts, the New York State Museum, Archives and Library, memorials, reflecting pools and the largest public contemporary art collection in the nation. The large indoor concourse is open to the public year round. The Visitor Center and Gift Shop is open to the public M-F, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
