The Statue was placed in the park in memory of children who have died at a young age. Within the small park are two benches with views of Main Street and Orsini Park.

Orisini Park is located on the other corner of Main Street and Park Street. This park hosts the war veterans' memorial and the Village Gazebo. Other Green Spaces within Village:

Along Western Avenue on the corner of Schoharie Plank Road, the Village maintains a triangular green space. Volunteer Master Gardener Keith Lee oversees the gardens within the green space as well as in the other Village parks.

The Firemen's Memorial is a small sitting area adjacent to the Village Office and Firehouse at 115 Main Street. The Altamont Fire Department placed the memorial in remembrance of members who passed away while still actively involved in the Altamont Fire Department. The memorial also includes Ladies Auxiliary Members on the back.
