Overview
The 81-acre park was created during the 1870s-80s from a design by Calvert Vaux and Fredrick Olmsted, who are famous for New York City's Central Park. This historic park offers ten tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and picnic areas. Annually, the park is known for many 5K-10K running challenges in addition to other sporting events.
