Town of Colonie Golf Course plays host to over 30 leagues and 50 golf outings and tournaments in an average year. More than 60,000 rounds of golf are played annually over their 36 holes.
Martel’s Restaurant is looking forward to another great year as our food and beverage concessionaire. Martel’s offers great daily and outing menu options, truly enhancing our golfer’s experience. They have also expanded their patio to enhance the outdoor dining opportunities during the summer months.
Greens Superintendent John Risler was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Northeast Golf Course Superintendent’s Association in 2017. John’s amazing work for not only our golf course, but also for his professional association, has been duly recognized.
In November of 2016, Colonie Town Golf Course Manager and Head Golf Professional Noel Gebauer began serving a three year term on the PGA of America’s National Board of Directors. Noel will represent PGA Professionals from Northeastern New York and all of New England as one of 14 Directors tasked with leading the largest working sports organization in the world.
