    Musicians of Ma'alwyck is a professional chamber music ensemble in residence at the Schuyler Mansion New York State Historic Site and at Schenectady County Community College. The ensemble also performs at other local historic venues including the Pruyn House, Ten Broeck Mansion, and the Schenectady County Historical Society. Musicians of Ma'alwyck was founded in 1999 by violinist Ann-Marie Barker Schwartz who is also the director of the ensemble. Musicians of Ma'alwyck presents a series of subscription concerts throughout the Capital Region, as well as free previews, educational programs, special historically themed performances and private concerts. The ensemble has performed by invitation for television producer Norman Lear in celebration of his purchase of the last private copy of the Declaration of Independence, as well as having broadcasts on National Public Radio, and concerts in New York City and around New York State. Musicians of Ma'alwyck is a flexible-size ensemble that specializes in music of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, tying music and historical venue together.
