Hike along the 13 plus miles of trails, and enjoy stunning views of Hudson-Mohawk Valleys and the Adirondack and Green Mountains.
The roughly 2.5 mile loop of the popular Indian Ladder Trail features cliffs, giant overhangs, and scenic waterfalls. Overall the trail is relatively flat and makes for an easy stroll, with the exception of the large staircase on either end. The fossils embedded in the limestone and various caves and crevices along the way are sure to spark the childlike imagination and wonder in all of us. For those adventurers wanting to enjoy a longer outdoor excursion, the Long Path travels the entire length of the park from south to north, taking hikers on a scenic journey by the Paint Mine area and Knowles Flats.
