The Albany County Historical Association is kicking off its 76th year with the annual Living History Day at Ten Broeck Mansion. This free community event includes tours of the historic Mansion, re-enactors, vendors, live music, pony rides and petting zoo, sheep-shearer, live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and much more. There’s something for all ages and interests to enjoy. Living History Day happens rain or shine!
We are also excited to welcome Mayor Kathy Sheehan to the historic Ten Broeck Triangle neighborhood! In celebration of her recent home purchase in the area, ACHA is hosting a “Welcome to the Neighborhood” BBQ for the Mayor and her family on May 6th from 3:30-5:30pm, served up by local favorite, 3 Ball BBQ.
BBQ tickets are $10 and include a ½ chicken, potato, homemade coleslaw, roll and butter, cookie, and soft drink. All proceeds benefit the ACHA and Ten Broeck Mansion. BBQ dinner tickets should be purchased in advance on our website at tenbroeckmansion.org.
