    Join us online for a free behind-the-scenes virtual exploration of artifacts, documents, and artwork in the collections of the Albany County Historical Association (Ten Broeck Mansion) highlighting the role of symbols in communicating, creating identity, and building a nation in early Albany County. We will explore a range of artifacts in the Ten Broeck Mansion, highlighting new research at the ACHA.

    The topics explored honor both Black History Month (February) and Women's History Month (March). Of interest to all ages, this series may be adapted for classroom or at-home teaching.

    • March 1: Plentitude & Power: a Young Nation Prospers

    • March 8: Northern Bound: Freedom & Oppression
