Join us for this hands-on workshop to learn how to make a holiday memory journal. Learn how to create ways to quickly store visual and verbal memory prompts as the holidays or a special event unfolds, for later artistic or literary inspiration! We will learn about the history of 19th c. paper techniques, and adapt these in creative ways in our customized journal.
All supplies included. Age 18 & up.
Program includes Ten Broeck Mansion tour (about 15 minutes). Program held in King's Place Education Room at west end of Ten Broeck gardens.
To make your visit safe and enjoyable for all:
1) By car: please park in our Livingston Avenue lot - free off-street parking. Our historic neighborhood has sidewalks for easy pedestrian access. See our website for information on public transportation.
2) Please wear comfortable shoes for walking on historic, sometimes uneven surfaces (no spike heels) as part of the garden tour. King's Place building up one flight of stairs. Wear comfortable clothes for a hands-on project.
3) ADA accessible entrance, restroom, and parking available - please contact us for more information.
4) Late arrivals will not be able to stay past the allotted time.
5) ACHA members using member discount will have membership status verified prior to program start.

7) We are unable to offer refunds for this program. In case of the ACHA cancelling the class due to weather, we will offer another date.
