Fringed Gentian Walk

  • Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  • Overview

Take a stroll through the beautiful Strawberry Fields Nature Preserve to see the stunning blooms of the fringed gentian plant. You will learn all about this elusive plant from hike leader Jeff Leon, the landowner and preserve steward of Strawberry Fields. NOTE: The fringed gentian begins to bloom in mid- to late September and will only open when the sun is shining. Our gathering will be dependent on the weather. Once you are registered, we will keep you posted via email. If our first date looks cloudy, then we will hold until the following week.
