The Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, located at 250 Old Maxwell Road in Latham, NY, will hold its Fall Polish Food Sale from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, September 23.

Pre-orders may be placed at bvmc.org/foodsale to ensure the best selection. All online orders $50 or more placed between September 5-11 will receive a 10% discount with the code Back2School. Walk-in customers are always welcome on the day of the sale.

Frozen and hot food will be available, including homemade gołąbki, bigos, borscht, kapusta, and haluski and three types of locally made kielbasa. A new hot Kielbasa Bomber Sandwich will also be available: jalapeño-cheddar kielbasa topped with sweet and sour red cabbage, bacon, honey mustard and a dill pickle. The sale features 17 varieties of frozen pierogi from our partner, award-winning Babcia’s Pierogi.

Pierogi flavors include a brand-new flavor perfect for the fall: S'More & More. This new dessert pierogi includes toasted marshmallow, cream cheese, mini Hershey chips, and graham cracker crumbs, blended with Oreo pieces, peanut butter, jelly & bananas. It’s a unique treat to bring to a party or have on your own. Other varieties include potato and cheese, sauerkraut, kielbasa and kraut, sweet cheese, buffalo wing, potato mushroom and bleu cheese, stuffed banana pepper, jalapeño-popper, apple, and more. Quantities of some pierogi flavors are limited.

Polish desserts include homemade chruściki, Polish Apple Loaves, kolachki and raspberry, apricot, walnut, or poppyseed rolls.

Customers are invited to come and speak with our experts on how to prepare pierogi and other Polish dishes. Preparation tips and suggestions are also available to take home.

Orders must be picked up on September 23 between 2-6 p.m. at 250 Old Maxwell Road, Latham, NY 12110.

Proceeds from the sale will help offset damages caused by the fire on church grounds set by an arsonist on May 15, 2023.
