    Archer Mayor’s Joe Gunther detective series, begun in 1988, has become one of the most critically acclaimed police procedural series being written today. Rabi Musah is UAlbany Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Musah Research Lab, where she is pioneering a process to pinpoint a corpse’s time-of-death based on a chemical analysis of blow fly eggs.
