Capital Pride Singers’ upcoming concert Patchwork Quilt - The Fabric of Us, tells the story of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and the history of the AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT. We will correlate this to the recent COVID pandemic and speak to the inequities that still exist in access to healthcare and how the fight still continues. We will sing of HOPE which remains as new treatments and advancements are made in science. Our collective struggle is like the fabric and thread that brings us together like the pieces of a QUILT and through a QUILT we can find comfort, healing, warmth, love, and hope.
