The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) and the Times Union Center are proud to present the free outdoor movie series Bites Camera Action!
With support from sponsors Berkshire Bank, this year’s Bites Camera Actionevents will transform a section of South Pearl Street into an open-air movie theater and block party. A collection of popular films chosen largely by members of the community through an online survey will be played on the Times Union Center’s 15-by-70-foot LED display screen.
Prior to each film’s screening, attendees are encouraged to bring their friends, family, and coworkers to enjoy music, games, and plenty of food and drink options at nearby downtown Albany eateries.
South Pearl Street will close to vehicular traffic from Beaver Street to Hudson Avenue at 6:30 PM on event nights. The feature presentation begins 7:00 PM each week.
Bites Camera Action is brought to you by the Downtown Albany BID, The Times Union Center, Albany County, The City of Albany, and sponsors Berkshire Bank. Special thanks to partner organizations The Palace Theatre and the Albany Parking Authority.
Please note: No glass containers or alcoholic beverages will be permitted at the event. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome under the discretion of Bites Camera Action staff. Please bring a lawn chair, as seating will not be provided.
