Mark your calendar for Thursday, July 17th... the 3rd year that the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is organizing a family-friendly and FUN EVENT along the Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail in Delmar. It will be held, RAIN OR SHINE, from 4-7 pm!
This event is FREE to enjoy, but bring cash if you want to purchase food, craft beer, or art from the many artisans. (Most take credit cards but some do not.)
WALK or RIDE the Rail Trail! (Per Albany County, no motorized scooters or bikes are allowed.)
DANCE to the tunes provided by DJ Nate Derucher!
JOIN THE SCAVENGER HUNT and maybe win a prize! (Sign up at the Chamber tables at either end of the event). The Chamber, in partnership with Art on the Rail Trail, will have a map for kids of all ages to follow and become eligible to win a great prize!
ENJOY THE ART both at the Merriman and Pfister Maker's Market and in the "Art on the Rail Trail" displays that are displayed along the Trail by the Mohawk-Hudson Land Conservancy.
VISIT THE VENDORS and learn more about our local non-profits, businesses, and artisans. (And maybe take home a free gift or two.)
PLAY SOME GAMES at each stop along the event.
GET SOME GRUB from food trucks and the Kona Ice slushie mobile!
GET YOUR FACE PAINTED!
LEARN ABOUT BIKE SAFETY!
Between the Blanchard Currey American Legion Post #1040, and the intersection of Adams and Hudson Ave in Delmar. Several stops along the way will have FOOD, artists, vendors, games, music, and more! Follow the map (there will be digital maps posted here at a future date or you can pick up a paper map at the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce tables on either end at the event).
