Overview
Albany’s signature free concert series premiered in the summer of 1990 with a performance by legendary folk artist Richie Havens, band has since grown into a staple of summer in the Capital Region. Showcasing a diverse lineup of big names, up-and-coming acts and the region’s most talented original artists, Alive at Five offers six weeks of free, critically acclaimed performances catering to nearly every taste.

All City of Albany parks are now tobacco-free. Security personnel reserve the right to inspect any bag, container or package and confiscate any prohibited or illegal items. Any type of recording of the performance or presentation is prohibited without prior written consent. All attendees should be prepared to present age identification at any time if they intend to consume alcohol. Ground rules are subject to change without notice; exceptions made for medical or childcare reasons may be addressed individually.
