Hudson River Valley Ramble, September 3 - 25, 2016
Few events capture the majesty and range of our Hudson Valley, like the Ramble. This multi-city, multi-week festival offers a host of things for visitors to do, all grouped around the idea of exploring the eponymous Hudson River Valley more deeply. Albany events include Albany Bootlegger Tour, and Albany History Race, September 24, 2016, which showcases local endangered buildings.

Pearl-Palooza, September 17
The local music scene just wouldn't be complete without Pearl-Palooza, happening September 17, 1pm-8pm. This outdoor music festival takes place right on Pearl Street, in downtown Albany, and is almost like a last hurrah for outdoor concerts in our region. Capital Region Apple and Wine Festival September 17 and 18
Apples and wine? Yes, and sometimes even apple wine. This festival celebrates the harvest season by showcasing the very best our local farms have to offer, including apples, pumpkins, baked goods, and a massive wine tasting event. Quilts and artisan crafts will also be available for sale.

Apple Festival and Craft Show, October 8 and 9
Goold Orchards says hello to fall with this annual festival and craft show. Quaint and homey, this charming festival brings together live music, family activities like facepainting, magicians, and puppets, as well as crafts and baked goods produced by local artisans. Grab a cider donut and folk out with the Hill Country Cloggers.
