All-Hallow E'en Art Path

All Hallow E’en Art Path
On view 24/7, all October long! | Downtown Albany

Inspired by the original 1904 & 1905 All-Hallow E’en Festival where local businesses showcased festive window displays, Albany Center Gallery has teamed up with local artists and businesses to create a stunning array of fall-inspired window art and outdoor murals. Explore this vibrant art path split between Maiden Lane near the gallery and Quackenbush Square outside of the Discover Albany's Visitor Center.

The Egg Presents: Encanto Sing-Along Film Concert
Wednesday, October 9 | 6 PM | The Egg
Join the Madrigal family for a fantastical and magical sing-along celebration! A live band will accompany a screening of the film. Attendees are welcome to dress up as their favorite Encanto characters.

Pumpkin Party on the Hill
Saturday, October 12 | 12 PM to 3 PM | Historic Cherry Hill
Join Albany Barn and Historic Cherry Hill for this free, all-ages event. At the Pumpkin Party, the winners of Cherry Hill's pumpkin carving contest will be revealed. Enjoy a fun day amongst jack-o-lantern art, vote for your favorite, and do a little carving of your own.

Looking for a family-friendly, free event during this day off from school? Join Discover Albany on Indigenous People's Day for a series of fun, fall activities. Embark on a scavenger hunt along the All-Hallow E'en Art Path and let creativity flourish with pumpkin painting. Learn about the Native Americans and early Dutch colonists with the Early Life in Albany touch table featuring real animal pelts. Plus enjoy free refreshments!

Mulled Wine & Murder
Wednesday, October 9 at 5:30 PM | Historic Cherry Hill

Travel back in time to an eerie event in Cherry Hill's history. This event will tell the story of an infamous murder that took place at the historic site in 1827. Sip on mulled wine and taste foods from that year by the glow of jack-o-lantern light. Then trace in the footsteps of the crime on a murder-themed tour of the house. This tasting event is in collaboration with the Siena Beverage Institute.

Murder at Cherry Hill
Thursday, October 10 Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. (Tours run from Oct. 10 to Oct. 26) | Tours at 5:30 PM & 7:00 PM | Historic Cherry Hill

Follow the footsteps of an infamous murderer who's harrowing story took place at Cherry Hill in 1827. This murder resulted in two sensational trials and Albany's final public hanging. Relive that night during one of Cherry Hill's popular October tours.
