Inspired by the original 1904 & 1905 All-Hallow E’en Festival where local businesses showcased festive window displays, Albany Center Gallery has teamed up with local artists and businesses to create a stunning array of fall-inspired window art and outdoor murals. Explore this vibrant art path along North Pearl Street!

Smokey Bear Day
Saturday, October 4 | 10 AM - 2 PM | Albany Pine Bush
Meet Smokey Bear! On Saturday, October 4, the famous bear will pay a visit to the fire dependent Pine Bush Preserve to teach visitors about prescribed fire for special habitats and wildfire prevention. Enjoy games, interactive exhibits, fire trucks, and Smokey goody bags.

Fall Foliage Hike at Eldridge Research Center
Saturday, October 4 | 10 AM to 11:30 AM | Huyck Preserve

Join Stewardship Coordinator Garrett Chisholm for a fall foliage hike to view the beautiful fall colors of the Preserve and learn about seasonal changes in our region's forests.​ Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Inclement weather will cancel this event. ​​

Albany County Fall Fest & 5k
Saturday, October 4 | 11 AM to 3 PM | Albany County Helderberg Hudson Rail Trail

Race into a fun October with the county's 4th annual Barn to Bridge 5K & Fall Fest. Join the 5K stretching the length of the Rail Trail, or just enjoy fall fest activities including a rock-climbing wall and face painting.

Mid-Autumn Festival: Celebrating Family, Friends, and the Harvest

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, a cherished tradition in China honoring family, friends, and the bountiful fall harvest.
