New Albany Visitors Guide almost ready to greet visitors

2017 Guide features Erie Canal, Albany Capital Center, and Wolf Road

Albany, NY - The Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau has begun production on the 2017 Albany Visitors Guide, the official destination guide for Albany County. This full-color, glossy, magazine-style publication has information about where to eat, what to do, and where to stay while visiting Albany.

Along with important information for travelers, the 2017 Albany Visitors Guide will also highlight the opening of the Albany Capital Center in March 2017, the Erie Canal Bicentennial and one of Albany's busiest commercial hubs, Wolf Road. Each year, thousands of visitors come to Albany County and these special features celebrate this destination and all its unique experiences.

The Albany Visitors Guide is more than the official destination guide - it is the first line of a conversation we have with visitors. This year, we will publish and distribute 100,000 visitor guides. In addition to mailing Visitors Guides directly to consumers, we also distribute guides at travel hubs, at local referrers, and to conference attendees.

Did you know that 4,461 visitors come to Albany County each day? Advertising in the 2017 Albany Visitors Guide is a great way to get your business in front of these travelers. With the purchase of any advertisement in the Albany Visitors Guide, your ad will also be featured on our online interactive guide displayed on www.albany.org and through www.discoveralbany.org. This online guide is easy-to-use, downloadable, and search-engine optimized. For more information on advertising in the 2017 Albany Visitors Guide contact Craig Wander - craigwander@gmail.com or 518-376-9462.
