Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau launches kiosk

New Visitor Kiosk offers travel information at a glance

Albany, NY - After months of work, the Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to unveil a brand new product for greeting customers - the Albany Visitor Kiosk.

This electronic kiosk helps greet and guide "in the moment" travelers, offering them information on what to do, where to eat, and what to visit during their stay in Albany, with a highly-visual, easy-to-navigate interface.

The first kiosk is being unveiled at the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center, which greets about 20,000 visitors annually. More kiosks are already on order for the soon-to-open Albany Capital Center and the Times Union Center.

"Kiosks like this are perfect because they offer travelers information right at some of the city's busiest visitor destinations," says Michele Vennard, President and CEO of the Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau. "The new Albany Capital Center and revamped Times Union Center are going to increase the number of visitors in Albany, and these new kiosks will give them everything they need, right at their fingertips."
