On behalf of the Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau, we are excited to welcome USTA Eastern players, families, friends, and fans to the Capital Region!

Enjoy Albany's superb variety of attractions; from excellent restaurants to downtown nightlife and uptown shopping, there are plenty of ways to have fun in Albany before the tournament begins and for your post event celebrations.

The Albany Marriott is centrally located, and you will find many options for shopping and dining along Wolf Road, including over 40 restaurants and Colonie Center Shopping Mall.

Just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Wolf Road, is The Crossings of Colonie, an ideal place for walking, running, biking and skating. Conveniently bordering the Crossings is the Rudy A.Ciccotti Family Recreation Center, one of the most comprehensive fitness facilities in the Capital Region that includes a family friendly water park. There is a daily guest fee.

Approximately 20 minutes from Wolf Road is the Empire State Plaza, completed as a vision of Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller in 1978. The Plaza was built not only to serve as government offices, but as a center of arts, culture, and community activity. The New York State Museum (the largest State Museum in the country), the Empire State Art Collection, the Empire State Performing Arts Center (known as The Egg for its unusual and distinctive design), and the New York State Capitol, are all contained at the Plaza.

Located just a short walk from Downtown Albany's Business District is Lark Street, often referred to as the "Greenwich Village" of the Capital Region. With countless restaurants, cafes, art galleries, boutiques, and more, Lark Street is reminiscent of the great and colorful neighborhoods of Manhattan. You can come early and stay late and take advantage of all that Albany and the surrounding regions have to offer. From the Hudson Valley Wineries, north to Saratoga and Lake George, all the way to the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, there is something for everyone!
