Delta Blue Grill, the new restaurant at the Ramada Hotel (formerly the Clarion Hotel) in Albany, located on Watervliet Avenue Extension near Everett Road, on Friday (9/25) will debut its full new menu featuring Southern and Delta specialties from Memphis to Louisiana. Food and wine posted after the jump.
The restaurant's Georgia-born executive chef, L. Joseph White, has developed a menu that offers specialties including smoked duck po' boy and seven other po' boys, "hogwings" (pork-shank tenders with barbecue sauce), smoked chicken and sausage gumbo, etouffee, shrimp and grits, St. Louis-style ribs and chicken-fried steak, as well as standard hotel fare. (Burgers featuring grassfed beef is a nice touch.)
Delta Blue Grill's wine list features 20 bottles representing 14 varieties, priced at $20 apiece and $6 per glass. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily.
