Albany has a history of coming in first. We are America’s oldest city, home of the first bakers’ dozen, the first grand slam, and the first brewery. In fact, Albany and beer have been tied together since the city’s earliest Dutch settlers arrived. Today, the tradition continues at our local breweries and craft beverage producers. Imbibe our history by sipping your way through 400 years of brewing culture.
The Capital Craft Beverage Trail was formed in 2015 to promote craft and farm-based beverage producers in Albany County, New York. This one-of-a-kind “drinking tour” promotes some of Albany County’s most popular craft beverage facilities: Albany Distilling Company, C.H. Evans Brewing Co. at the Albany Pump Station, Nine Pin Ciderworks and Druthers Brewing Company. Every producer sources ingredients locally, and beverages are created in small batches to maximize quality. Grab some friends and head down to Albany’s warehouse district where you can find all four of these establishments and experience Albany’s Craft Beverage Trail first hand!
