“What would you talk about if asked to tell a story?” This is the question, Union College Senior, Sophie Rosen, asked over twenty friends and classmates to create the series of expressive photographs in the exhibition, STORIES. In the words of the psychology major/photographer, “This project was designed around simply asking people to talk; to tell a story for the camera and get lost in the emotions that it provokes. This project exposes the unknown stories that someone calls theirs.” In the exhibition, viewers are presented first with striking, emotional sequences of portraits, followed by quotes from the sitters which reveal the nature of the subject matter being disclosed. There will be an opening reception on Tuesday, October 10th, from 5:00 – 6:00pm. Please join us for light refreshments. Free and open to the public. The Wikoff Student Gallery is located on the third floor of the Nott Memorial, and is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. All exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
