The Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACCVB) hosted a half-day Hospitality Summit at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center on June 9, 2015, to begin the conversation surrounding growth opportunities and challenges for our destination.

The ACCVB will be presenting a series of programs aimed at developing a hospitality culture in Albany. Based on feedback from the Albany Hospitality Summit, the ACCVB has convened a group of board members and community leaders to select the programming that will best meet our needs.
October 28, 2015 - Guest Service Gold
Presented by the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association and the ACCVB, this course consists of group discussions, relevant videos, sharing guest-service experiences with your peers in the classroom, and a test. After taking the class and passing the 30-question test, participants will become a lifetime Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP). This event is SOLD OUT.
December 9, 2015 - Hospitality Summit Update
The ACCVB and other community partners have been working to identify and provide solutions to the many topics discussed during the Hospitality Summit in June. Join us as we provide a Hospitality Summit Update on Wednesday, December 9, from 8:30 - 10:00 am at the Hampton Inn & Suites Albany-Downtown.
November 21, 2016 - Hospitality Summit Update
The ACCVB and community partners, including SMG, the Albany Convention Center Authority, Capitalize Albany Corporation, and local BIDs will continue the conversation around the soon-to-open convention center, and provide the community with updates on projects that have been undertaken to make Albany Convention-Ready!
