The Capital Region has long served as a cultural crossroads. Early Dutch and British settlers welcomed Germans, Irish, Poles, Italians, Chinese, and African Americans as new industries, canals, and railroads came to the region over time. Today, Albany still evokes that sense of diversity through its residents, architecture, food, and festivals.
We've detailed just a small selection of our favorite annual events and festivals in the menu to the left.
