WITH 7TH ANNIVERSARY COMES NEW NAME AND NEW HOURS 

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (December 30, 2010) – Saratoga Gamingand Raceway is celebrating its 7th Year of operation in 2011. Inconjunction with this celebration, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway announces thechange of its name to Saratoga Casino and Raceway and the extension of hoursbeginning Monday, January 3.

“Since 2004, our goal has been to be the premierentertainment destination in the Capital Region,” states Executive VicePresident and COO, Jamie Hartman. “As we continue to maintain that goal, we areexcited to announce our new name, Saratoga Casino and Raceway as well as newhours of operation, a nineteen-hour day from 9a.m. to 4a.m.”

On January 28, 2004 Saratoga Equine Sports Center becameSaratoga Gaming and Raceway, the first ‘racino’ to open in New York State. Theproperty started with 1,300 slots, a food court and trackside restaurant, thenadded a 45,000 square foot expansion on May 1, 2007. The expansion includedVapor, a two-story, Vegas-style night club, the Garden Buffet and additionalslots, bringing the total to over 1,700. Today, the gaming floor offers theindustry’s latest game titles such as Wheel of Fortune as well as electronicroulette, a world of great food in the soon to be redecorated Garden Buffet andnewly expanded atrium style food court, Lucky Joe’s.

“We are always looking to add new slots to enhance thegaming excitement for our patrons” describes Shawn Harris, Director of VideoGaming Machine Operations. “In the coming months, we plan to add popular titlessuch as Sex in the City and Playboy as well as electronic craps.”

Saratoga Casino and Raceway,located on Crescent Avenue in Saratoga Springs, NY, features over 1,700 slots,electronic table games, Vapor Night Club, two full-service restaurants withbuffets, three full-service bars, food court, deli and a variety of guestservices including valet parking and coat check.
