Miss New York Pageant Announces New Home in Albany and Changes in Leadership

Albany, NY—March 12, 2009: The Miss New York Organization has named Albany as the new home to the2009 Miss New York and Miss New York’s Outstanding Teen pageants. The events will be held June 25- 27, 2009 at the Kitty Carlisle Hart Theatre at The Egg, a premier performance center in Albany. Additionally, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Albany-City Center will host contestants and their families. “We are very excited about moving the pageant to Albany,” said executive director of the Miss New York Organization, Erin Kennedy. “We hope the city will welcome us with open arms.”
