Albany Tulip Queen & Court Bottle Drive for Literacy

Bottle drive continues throughout 2011 at Mike’s Bottle& Can Center
19A Vatrano Rd, Albany
Albany, NewYork - Albany Tulip Queen Mishka Gilkes & her court invite the public to drop off recyclable bottles and cans at the Village of Colonie Highway Garage on January 8th to raise funds benefiting the Tulip Queen & Court Fund. The fund, instituted in 2009 as a joint effort between the Albany Tulip Court & the Community Foundation of the Capital Region, awards grants to local literacy organizations.
Bottles and cans may also be dropped off at Mike's Bottle & Can Center throughout the upcoming year. In order for the proceeds to go towards the Tulip Fund, be sure to mention the Albany Tulip Queen & Court when dropping off recyclables.
