On Friday, June 21, at 6 p.m., the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) will close the Clinton Avenue off ramp (Exit 4B) from Interstate 787 southbound in downtown Albany. New York State has implemented a system where individuals can sign up their e-mail address(es) to automatically receive emergency alert messages by selecting geographic areas of the state. This includes NYSDOT transportation system incidents. The Capital Region TMC enters these incidents into the NY-Alert system, so you can receive timely notifications for major incidents.....more
